Mynes Evo 9 Road Race 2.4L GT35R Top-mount, MoTeC M800 ecu detuned to 450whp for this event. Finished Second Place in the Modified Class :) Not bad for our first outing at a Road Race/Time Attack event :)

  • I heard the external gate, but there's a flutter noise from the turbo at lift throttle, evidence of the bov not reacting fast enough. Maybe I'm just having trouble discerning the difference between the actual bov noise and anything else. Not to bash tial, but their designs are dated. Reaction time with both the bov and wastegate are slowed with the use of a diaphram. (my bov didn't even work properly) I had both a tial wastegate and bov, and am going to replace them both with synapse pieces.

  • It has a Tial BOV; the noise you're hearing is from the external dump-tube off the Tial Wastegate. Our new manifold setup has the waste recirc back into the downpipe (i think that's what you meant to say, hey :)... cheers.

  • I think you need a better BOV, or recirc valve, but that's just me.

  • That turbos sweet for circuit racing. No lag and plenty of power.
