Antitrust immunity is the catalyst that allows consumers to benefit the most from alliances. It is what permits the participating airlines to align their networks, fares, schedules, services and amenities so that consumers get the best-possible travel experience and the airlines achieve financial benefits such as revenue sharing not possible absent this tighter relationship.

  • I could not agree more.

    Surely it is only fair for it to be approved, as Star and Sky both have the same relationships that AA, BA and IB are campaigning for!

    Also, I like the idea of having more travel choices; for too long have I attempted to book a flight that with American has stops but with BA hasn't.. and getting the AAdvantage miles is a bonus too!

  • Booo sky team. American Airlines rocks, I know everyone has their faults but customer service with them is top tier and they need to be commended which I can't say for Delta or Aeromexico. This needs to be approved!
