You learned to walk and run instinctively as a baby by falling forward first while lifting and catching yourself. You still use that same process today because falling and lifting then catching yourself is the only way anyone can walk and run. You stay in place by gravity pulling you straight down. To walk and run, gravity pulls you forward and down. You lift to move parallel to the ground instead of falling down. All walkers and runners stand on a leg that slants behind the body for most of the ground time. That puts you off balance for standing still. The more off balance you land and stand, the faster the speed. Keep your upper body vertical except when starting on the first step. Tilting the upper body has no effect on speed. You can run backward with a forward tilted upper body. Now that you see you already run with gravity, you should know that you need to learn how to use gravity better. My gravity technique makes your walking, running and sprinting, faster, easier and healthier.

You can make sure whether my gravity walking, running and sprinting technique is truly the one and only technique that you can actually use for all speeds of self transport. Check out the largest running publication. Ask the officials of Runners World magazine if they have another technique that will move you forward without using gravity. Im sure you will find that you cant even take one step forward without falling ahead of your foot. Thats what gravity does...makes you fall when standing off balance. Nobody noticed that the body moves from behind the foot a shorter distance than it does ahead of the foot. That is an off balance standing time. The jump lifts you to fall forward instead of down by gravitys force. I have gotten one response from them. It says that the editors have tried running with gravity and couldnt do it. Please let me know what technique they use instead, and if you think it will work at all without using gravity. Thank you. Jack Nirenstein email: runouterlimits@aol.com

  • The advice on that site is just as bad as all the others. You cannot relax without knowing how. Your proactive muscles need to work their hardest while the opposing muscles need to relax. Leaning is not done with the upper body. You can stand in place with a horizontal upper body. Stronger muscles do not make you faster, only technique does. My technique advances correct the bad parts in the gravity technique everyone uses.

  • Thank you for your comment. My technique is given a little at a time. See my other videos and it will reveal more.

  • @JackNirenstein That's how i made it in track.i honestly think technique is good, but the real way to run fast, is how much force you put onto the ground. Everyone pretty much runs the same pace, just pushes off the ground more. It will push you off much farther. Now after that, you need to learn around stamina.

  • @DarkNatasX The secret to golf or any sport is not that simple. Relatively few people can do them well. Most runners who are told to run fast do not make the grade.

  • The secret to running, is to run fast. Nuff said.

  • Thanks way better :D

  • When you stand centered between your heel and toe the heel is pressing from behind and the toe is pressing from in front. You are centered betweed both supports and no muscles can push you, because your legs are designed to push you straight up, not forward. You can't move forward staying centered. you need to lift the front support and fall forward. When you reach your pace your feet drop ahead. The more they drop ahead the more you lose the speed you reached.

  • Landing off balance more than the others always wins because gravity pulls you faster. You can't do that without falling unless you exchange your feet faster (up and forward). The speed spreads the feet apart and you need to work hard to keep them together as much as you can. The effort to shorten your stride pays off to land more to the rear. Far behind the center of balance at the start and less in front of center when you reach your pace.

  • Naturally running faster is harder work so you need to practice at over-speed for shorter distances, say 50 yards. The harder effort is for bringing the raised foot forward faster, and lifting faster. You can do that and run slow. You need to drop your feet more to the rear when you exchange your feet faster. The fast exchange allows you to do that. Get yourself off balance the most you can and gravity will pull you faster. Tilting the upper body has no effect on speed except on first step.
