@DirtinSky Some movie executives are more brave than others. Captain America got to keep its American origin and had America in the title, but the trade off is that they also added "The First Avenger" as a way for other countries to opt out of having the word "America" in the title.........and also as a way to promote The Avengers.
And that's the kicker! Some of the most successful movies out of hollywood from the past where directly aimed at the American audience! People in other countries wanted to see movies about America and Not about hollyweirds deluded ideas on how the rest of the world looked at them. If they really did a true G.I. Joe flick, the box office may of been far massive as it wasn't.. It "blew up" in the box office profits.. but quickly evaporated out of existence throughout the world.
The 1 who doesn't love it is a superhero boy like Dash
