Since version 3, FF is waaaay heavier on your machine... Chrome is leightweight and super fast. That you don't like it is an opinion, not a fact.
Fact: Chrome 3 is faster than FF3.X

uh google chrome isnt a OS (operating system) it's a web browser, windows XP is a OS and mac OS X is a OS, google chrome isn't a OS!

Hi! I have the 10.1 inch aspire one, but it has the same intel atom 1.6 GhZ processor, same ram, same 160 HDD, and I really love my computer, It runs great, I don´t think you´ll be dissapointed. You made a good choice.

I have one, its the best. I cant wait to put Google Chrome OS on it. netbooks are really catching on.

I brought mine back, it didn't preform well at all even with BASIC tasks such as photo, music, and video viewing. I also found the camera to be really lacking in quality and reliability.

My father will pretty much be sticking to word processing and e-mail, with light web browsing. I would not use this computer for anything serious.

Very nice. I have actually been thinking about getting my wife one of those. About 15 mins. of tweaking and it would run circles around most any Vista notebook.
As for office you could have just made an ISO of the disc and transfered that to a flash drive and installed it on the netbook.

Yeah I thought about that, I have never made an ISO before, though I am pretty sure I could figure it out. I will try it when my Dad gets back from Boston, thanks for the idea.
