An old wily public land Osceola that meets his match with a couple Ga boys. Dave calls him down a sandy road for Poncho to put him in the sand for good.
We hunt South Florida where it's not uncommon to have to walk through alot of water up to waist high sometimes, its the best way we've found to deal with it. Alot of the locals do the same. Good Luck to ya!
I've been stomping around FL swamps for over 20 years and that's the first time I've ever heard anyone take that approach. Good luck with that though...
Yep, that was a Croc! If you hunt in South Florida enough, you will learn that wearing something comfortable that dries quickly is the key due to so much water. Otherwise, you'll spend more time trying to find a path to the bird that'll keep your feet dry ( even with knee high boots) - better off just getting wet from the start and getting to the birds quickly. You just cant be scared of snakes.
