Wow...again. That 93 wine spectator rating was spot on, if not 94!!!

Got a bottle for $60 at bevmo. Untwisted the wire, and "boom" the cork flys off. Oops, that's a first.  I'm no expert, but I've tried a several dozen sparklers and champagnes in the "reasonable" price range($120 to 20$). My opinion? Wow...super smooth, rich and dry. Only a micro-hint of of that "sour/tang" that I endure through most NV's. Awesome super dry/creamy and smooth and no "sour/tangy" after taste. I would definitely rank this better than M&C's vintage Dom's. Cheers.

A Special Cuvée N.V is at it's best up until 1 year after purchase. So if you got it 3 years ago it won't be as good as it's supposed to be.

As far as I know, their figures are completly wrong. It's not 25 million for VCP or 1 million for Bollinger. It's about 25 million for Moet and 1.9 million for Bolly.

I am getting fed up with waiting like 25 years for a video to stream. Am on 8meg broadband but trying to watch anything on this site I may as well be on 1kbs dial up! A shame because I love a glass of Bollinger and would have been interested to see this. Maybe I get to see it another day! I sure hope so.
