The Job Creators Solutions Truth Tour sent Herman Cain to the University of Michigan on Sept. 27 to tell the crowd of students to follow their dreams and help save free enterprise in the greatest nation on Earth. Some in the crowd didn't think they were living in the greatest nation on Earth. Cain brought them a dose of truth.

If Barack Obama is re-elected, there is a good chance I will leave the country since I sincerely believe we will cease to be the greatest country in the world with him as our president.

Yes they were! Just in the early 1800's. You can't say they abolished it at a certain time, and then say they were never enshrined in it and it wasn't the normal.

most european countries abolished slavery in the 1820's-1830's (Britain in 1832), whereas the southern united states remained slave states until 1865. Only Brazil abolished slavery after the US. And even afterwards the deep south was one of the most racist environments in the world (second onlt to south africa) until 1964. I admit europe has suffered from racist tendancies, but theyve never been enshrined in law like in the southern states.
