For me I checked out the senior value phone from tracfones. It's low price and just got the basic features with large key pad. Most seniors I know would not require gadgets or their phone or even text. $14.99 for the phone and $7 per month is a hard to beat combo. I love that my grandparents have these phones because I can always be in touch with them and if there was an emergency.. I rely on the tracfone serivice because they have no issues with reception.
