Among all the Martins you have played, what is (are) your favourite one ? Do you own a Martin ?
I do have a 2008 HD28, a superb instrument with a "chocolate" colored indian rosewood and all the acoustic features that a Martin produces : sweet and warm tone, and easy playing.
In a near futur, I will probably get a 00 or 000 28 12 frets, which are gems of the 19th century design.
Keep playing and posting your guitar work !

Mate you're a great player! I'm working on my 'boom-chic' thumb stuff at the moment, it makes such a difference, but it's so hard to get going! I just have to persist though!! (wish I'd kept at it 5 years ago when I started trying it, I'd be awesome at it by now!!)
But yea, your playing is really nice, do you have cds or anything?

Nice sweet music ! ... you make your guitar sounds like Knopfler would ! It could be on the "Neck and neck" Atkins/Knopfler album, really.
I have been watching your videos for a while, and it's always an occasion to learn how to play things "right", not "almost right".

Thanks for your comment.Not all guitars are mine of course.Most of them belong to a good friend of mine.Those videos are just samples,i was trying to show the qualities of those great guitars in 1-2 minutes.I don't have the chance playing them everyday.
But that particular '38 0-18 was an outstanding example!

Nice ,does that 0-18 have 13/4 at nut ? my 1962 is 1 11/16 at nut is very cool with a nice V neck on it . nice stuff your playing.

Yes,all pre '38 Martins have the 1 3/4 necks.That particular small Martin was an outstanding instrument,one of the very best guitars i've played.
Of course it's not mine,it belongs to a collector and a friend of mine.
