Millennium Divers Fest 2009 in Portland, Dorset, UK. A free event organised by the non-profit Millennium Divers club and sponsored by local diving enterprises allowing divers from throughout the UK to partake in equipment try dives, workshops, discussions. This year's MD Fest 2010 is to be held on the weekend of October 2-3 and information is available on www.millenniumdivers.org . The new event includes Halcyon scooter workshops (including Suex and Gavins), GUE experience sessions and dives, UE equipment workshops to be conducted by MD member professional diving instructors Ross Finlayson and Izzy Imset. There will also be two days of optional sentinel rebreather try dives offered by IANTD UK Training Director Phil Short. Guest speakers include Phil Short and Renato Raseta as well as GUE instructors and explorers.
