  • What a fantastic video! Where did this come from?

  • RTE television programme first shown 1975.

  • Thats my GRANDAD!!!! haha its strange seeing hime in his younger years on TV. He was born in Forxford C.o May and lived in Moybrook Blackrock with my Granny Stephanie Quigley. He flew the pope out of Ireland because the flight from to Boston was a longer haul. well that what he told me anyway!!! What a great man, pilot ,father and grandad he was R.I.P Capt. Aidan Quigley

  • Fuck u 1969atam. Airbus are probably the best plane in the world. Are you american or European?

  • Those were the days when Aer Lingus had proper planes! The Boeing 747 instead of the shitty old Airbus!

  • @quizmaster9 the should get a380s

  • its a pity aer lingus has no more 747s

  • Fantastic video, great footage, thanks for uploading! This truly is aer lingus in its glory days, and brings back the magical feeling of being at the airport when i was a child. If you get the chance try to have a look at my aer lingus flight simulator video and let me know what you think.

  • The WTC is there in New York. That dates the film in a very sad way.

  • wow. that was brilliant!
