Why doesn't the operator just put the loudest siren on, it's better to be loud than hitting jay walker!

@adam022695 Amen! the ONLY time i ever drive without the siren on is if I'm on an interstate at like 3am with NO cars. Other then that I use the siren for what it's meant for. No wonder this dude couldn't get through an intersection quicker.

New Yorkers ignore emergency vehicles. It probably wouldn't have made any difference if he had the siren blaring. Besides, electronics are no good at intersections as the speakers aim the sound straight ahead.

if my partner were drivin me code like this barely touching the siren I'd ask for a different partner from my chief this puts you in danger its a warning device your not warning anyone with a short little beep.
