@hellomoto450 I completely agree. I own W7s=10,12, and the 13. Also own this one. The materials used are just newer better technology. the magnet isn't big nor heavy, yet produces amazing sound. People talk trash on critical mass because of price, but the reality is that if you look hard enough on ebay you can get C.M. equipment at a relatively comparative price to other high end components that use similar materials. And I can speak on that from personal experience.

yea the sub is 2k but the amp is 5k and the upgrades in batteries and alts would be another 2k then when your car falls apart PRICELESS

This subwoofer is by far the best subwoofer ever made. I own 2 of these and I am pushing them with about 2,000 watts each rms in my 2009 BMW M3 and my system hits hard. I know that they are expensive but we only live once so if you got it, might as well spend it. Everyone that sits in my car loves the deep smooth clean BASS. Now that i have had the system for a year, I think I would have done just 1 Critical Mass UL12 in the M3.... 2 of them is just too much BASS. I must be getting old!!!
