Things are the same here in Japan.
Such ugly commercialism is controlling the music scene.
And melodramic, empty songs make me feel sick.
Soul, yes, soul is the vital ingredient to songs.
Will be no Woody Guthrie in America again?

@sendenryoku so many of these songs got back a way - traditional Americana. Plus a bunch of folk who may or may not know each other getting together and singing/picking - can't get any better!

Good and soulful...This music may not be that popular among us youth but I feel that the music today lacks one key ingredient....soul.
