Passing all ten spins was the right play. Assuming the whammy hits 1/6 of the time, there's only a 16.15% chance that Adrianna can avoid the whammy for 10 spins, which means Eric has an 83.85% chance to win.

If he takes one spin, the chances of avoiding the whammy increase to 19.38%, PLUS he takes on the 16.67% risk of hitting a whammy on his spin. That lowers his chances of winning to 64.47%.

This is why having a lot of spins isn't always a good thing depending on how many whammies you get in round 1.  Any more than 6 spins into round 2 is usually more risk than reward.

@lobstertexas Once you hit 4 whammies, you're done. He only had 3 whammies so since the other 2 contestants had 4, he wins automatically.

I loved Peter but I had heard of his attitude problems with staff and at 2:55 it shows. He always seemed rude to them when they were having technical difficulties....

Lot the seperator split the wrong way but that was useless becase he didn't win anything.... He should have at least used once it wasnt much risk.............

If there was a PC version of PYL,there would of been a Pick A Sqaure added that would of allowed a player to select a square,minus whammies with or without spinning.

This was getting really messed up near the end. Peter was getting confused, the scoreboard operator was apparently getting confused as well. The last whammy at the end, its sound effect did not even sound till 5 seconds after it was hit, and the divider bar between the two started sliding the wrong way for a split second.
