A jeep was comming down Back 2 Back and rolled over.

I met the guy that rolled this jeep over and he said on Sept. 5th he was driving around up behind back 2 back and his gf told him to take this trail down. Somehow the jeep rolled over and pinned his arm under the jeep. Luckily there were people standing below he could yell to and called the police. They had to lift the jeep to get him unpinned however attempting to get the jeep out two tow trucks were broke and one is sitting somewhere up behind the jeep. They are going to try to lower it this week. We were thinking it might have been lucky to get stuck given the rain and mud, had they lost control after that bend the bottom of back to back is all trees and bikes cant stop going down that hill.

  • Serves 'em right for illegal wheeling!

  • @HahnsB2 It's legal to ride 4x4 here, however they made a wrong turn off the 4x4 trail and down a motorcycle only trail.

  • hard to c the jeep hope he is ok

  • He was ok, I think he had a cast on his arm. Ya, I tried to get a good video of it, I didnt want to walk up back to back in the mud it would have been a very hard climb and prolly take about a half hour to get up there. Might be easier to see once the video quality gets better

  • Was this guy drunk or just an idiot. I ride and wheel at TSF and am quite familiar with Back to Back. If one was to ignore the sign at the Bates Rd intersection the top of this hill could be a bit deceptive as it is a truck width trail above the final S curves where the motorcycle rut ends, but I think you'd have to be high to start descending past where the rut stops. I'm not defending this guy. I hope he got a fine to go along with what I'm guessing was a healthy tow bill.

  • @tobyeo Back to Back is open to bikes only, hence illegal in a jeep. I'm familiar with the area, I've attempted the hill climb before on my bike and wheeled my rig at browns camp.

  • Most likely, they were going to attempt to get the Jeep on Monday. This video was taken on Sunday night.

  • the trail is way steeper than it looks in this video! the guys got lucky the jeep toppled over...had it rolled down the slope, it wud have been far worse!

  • wow wish we could see the jeep better and if he went down that hill he prolly woulda hit the trees sliding

  • Wow,,.....Idiots
