The Magic That Was Mark Farner & GFRxR!

This is what many people think Rock & Roll is all about. GFRxR was simple and they were crude and they rocked with a vengeance without pretense or apology. Their live show was 100% energy. It was raw and it was real. For all us who remember, nothing can replace it.

People are still in awe of this great but misunderstood American Band!

Look at Mark Farner's hair curling in front: the beginning of the stress Terry Knight put them on a few weeks before this concert while taking all royalties from them.

I noticed that too. He also looks real thin in the face. Much stress at that time. Their instruments were confiscated after this show by sheriffs dept. & Knight.

@PackedFunk I always read something like "misundertood", WHY? I mean who misunderstood them and reason. I love their music by the way. I yes, I do not speak English and very few people do in my country however they were popular there back in the early 70's.

whats the creaming on Ted about ?I saw him play in a shithole movie theatre in golden meadow la. thibideaux parish and come on stage riding a mule and a coontail hanging out of white stretch pants and play like he was madison square garden,you must not have grown up in the era so you need to s.t.f.u.
