Based on new and exclusive forensic evidence, this new one-off 60-minute special reveals a darker and more ruthless side to the Queen of Egypt, traditionally mythologised for her beauty, her love affairs with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony, and, finally, her suicide.

  • i dont like this one they didnt do her make up right thats what i was looking for

  • it wasnt princess arsinoe it was queen arsinoe for those who havent seen this whole thing

  • W T F

  • Just human codition power is like that.

    At that time and today.

But before killing for power was more savage it was phisical death nowdays it can be physical in extreme cases and mostly political death

  • i have read about Cleopatra's family, Man, why hasn't any film companies done a film on them, always the same story, over and over again. Get some good writters together (along with what is known today) and you've got a BlockBuster, and please use actors from the region, we are in the 21st Century now, and to tell the truth, i doubt that Cleopatra looked ANYTHING like Elizabeth Taylor or many of the other actors that hollywood has had playing her.

  • I dont appreciate how they made. CLEOPATRA out to be so horrible. By no means was she a saint, but she wasn't a monster.

  • @frickadele

She actually used seduction as a ploy to form an alliance with Rome.

As opposed to being enemies with a super power of their time, she tried to befriend them.

Both Cleopatra and Caesar had interests in being rulers of the most powerful nations,

Why not work together instead of fighting each other? (It would be inevitable)

Cleopatra was smarter than this video ultimately gives her credit for.

She was a queen of Egypt, having political interests.

They just fail to mention that here

  • Damn, didnt know you could tell all that from looking at a skull.. hmmmm...

  • Her brother was a kid at 13 and by all accounts a puppet of his older sister or councilors. By all rights, Cleopatra was the rightful queen by blood, If Ptolemy had lived he would have killed Egypt by trying to fight Rome, he was an ignorant child. I'm sure fighting the Romans would've appealed to Braveheart, but Cleopatra was the smarter one. How do you know those bones aren't hers? Cleopatra was subject to double standard; if ptolemy had taken a roman wife no one would've said anything.
