  • anyone know what tuning he's in?

  • He said that it was playing with E :)

  • I am glad that you feel this tune " funky " ! I respect his play.

  • Rubbish? Sounds like some dudes playing some blues to me.

  • THANKS! Medic397. I love his slide guitar so much, and I always listen to his album. I don't think rubbish, too.......!!!

  • the worse fate for a good guitar is to be put behind glass. Guitars should be played. Everyday!

  • Regardless of collector or historical value, every guitar needs to be played, its what they are made to do. I dont even want to think of how many amazing vintage instruments are being ruined sitting behind glass or in some collectors vault, gaining so much value that they become completly un-obtainable to people that can actually use them

  • who care if he sold it for $1, it deserves to be played like this every day!

  • Amen!

  • Delaney never stated how much he sold this guitar to the Japanese guitar collector for. What an idiot, selling one of Duane's guitars!

At least Duane's daughter owns his 1959 Gibson Les Paul tobacco burst tiger stripe.

  • Is this the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Jr. Dark Cherry Red that Delaney Bramblett bought from the pawn store for $60 that Duane had forgotten where he pawned it?

  • ...All I can say is this better have been a 1-time play... A relic like this NEEDS to be behind glass, not an everyday player.

Good to have the original shoot-off sing again, but its gotta endure the rots of time longer than a regular player guitar. (he should get a diff 59 Jr to play on haha)
