What it used to be: Best peformance, really good value and magnificant machine + you get to use Mac
What it is today: The peformance is moderate, not very special, you get reasonable value for your money, you get a regular machine at a very high priced but it is packed in an aluminum case that makes you look cool and you get to use MAC!

like. They lied when they see 3.0 Ghz. The fastest was 2.7 Ghz.

The original Emagic Logic looks so much better than the Apple version, that it's not even funny.
