@sarahcaitlind It is not your tradition, and it certainly hasn't been celebrated as a Christian ceremony for 2,000 years. The celebration of Winter Solstice or Saturnalia predates Christianity by quite a bit, and as a co-opted Christian holiday it's been celebrated for, at best, 1,700 years or so. The evergreen trees and the bearded man are all quite obviously pagan in origin. So get over yourself and read some history.

It's amazing how chicken we've become! I saw a sign in front of a local Catholic church announcing its annual Christmas fair and the words "holiday fair" were used instead. It's for a CATHOLIC CHURCH, for crying out loud!

I have heard this group perform many times and i can tell you we have nothing else like it in Lompoc. It is something you have to be there in person to truly enjoy the intricacies of their voices.

We're not changing Christmas. It's OUR tradition that we've been celebrating for over 2000 years, don't celebrate it if it offends you. Don't listen to Christmas radio stations, and stop wasting your time trying to change our season.
