Part 3 of the SOPA Press conference organized by Public Knowledge, Demand Progress, Computer and Communications Industry Association, Americans for Job Security, Don't Censor the Net and the CEA.

The press conference was held the day before the first hearing on the so-called "Stop Online Piracy Act" (HR 3261) (SOPA), which would do nothing of the sort while greatly disrupting the functionality, security, and vibrance of the internet.

From left to right:
Michael Petricone, Consumer Electronics Association
Rep. Darrell Issa
Patrick Ruffini, Don't Censor the Net
David Moon, Demand Progress
Maura Corbett, Glen Echo Group
Steve DeMaura, Americans for Job Security

  • @TheBigvic100 Actually, it's the other way around. It's all of them versus very few of us. Little to no representatives are against the passing off this bill.

  • I got 3 words for ya, Death to america.

  • A party doesn't have to be wealthy to bring a case to congress, but they need it to be taken seriously. Sips will stifle any new internet businesses and desecrate our struggle for new jobs while rich producers in hollywood make more money that goes to waste in a pointed monetary system.
