Part 16 - Shot with my iPhone - Parts 1 - 6 were all shot in HD with my Flip Cam. Volunteering aboard the USS Iowa for a few months as she's moored in Richmond, California as she's being prepped into a museum. These videos are from November 19, 2011 during my first day of volunteering. Awesome opportunity to do some work and wander the ship and shoot some video.

  • As a 11 year Navy Veteran and a volunteer for the USS Ranger Foundation, I am extremely proud to hear that the West Coast will have a battleship museum to call their own. My Grandfather served on the USS California BB-44 during WWII and it was after hearing his sea stories that lead to my subsequent enlistment. I wholeheartedly believe in your efforts to preserve this historic class of dreadnaughts and only wish that I was in the local area to help with your efforts!
