The pacifier part is incorrect. While most breastfed babies do not have any issues, some do. Why chance it? No reason to give a pacifier when mom needs the stimulation to keep supply up with demand. Also, pacifiers can lead to problems with latching, just as introducing a bottle too early can.

Yeah so true, sometimes your like wow I can't wait until he grows up so he can stop crying but when he really does grow up you'll find yourself wishing he was like that again

Babys can only see 8-10 inches away? Amazing! As my wife and I take care of this precious helpless person, it's hard to imagine that one day he'll be crawling, then walking and running on his own. These really are the tender years!
