Urmila Matondkar had almost taken a sabbatical of sorts till Ram Gopal Verma's Aag came by. Doing a cameo, performing on the legendary Mehbooba number, Urmila as usual has created quiet a stir.

Talking about the song she says, "I doubt if there is anyone who has enjoyed and liked this song as much as I have. Also, even before doing it on screen, I have performed it many a times behind the screen. It's such a song that will make any one start dancing."

Comparisons are obvious, especially if the legendary Helen has performed the original number. However, Urmila feels that there is not much scope for comparisons as except the signature tune of the song, nothing has been aped. She says, "The specialty of the song is that keeping the basic essence of the song, not a single bit has been duplicated. Even as an actor I believe that you can get inspired by many a people. But the minute you start imitating them, that's the end of you as an actor."

  • Its Hindi .. and reason she mixes it up with English is cos that happens all the time in India since English is the second official language of the country.
