@bruce In Kindergarden the kids learn songs like these to learn their sight words. They have to know what the words look like w/o 'reading' it, but they also have to know how to spell it....so YES these ARE sight words, and this is how a LOT of kids learn them.

well...they have to learn to spell the words. A Phonics lesson consists of the sounds of the letters....this is saying the letter names!

If you give letters and spell a word, then these are NOT sight-words.
Sight words, by definition, are recognized as shapes or configurations. No letters are identified.
This is really a phonics lesson!!!!
