I am original Hungarian, this is NOT lángos what can we see in this video!!!

to the hungarian gourmet! you have just made native american fry bread! Krumpli langos requires a Krumpli IN IT! a mashed potato added to the dough! plus you didn't add sugar - another ingredient needed for langos.

I'm a Hungarian, growing up in the 50's-60's-70's in Budapest and I've been living in Australia for 30 years now.I come from a family of 9 children. My mum use to make this dish at least once a week, because it is cheap and simple. She use to make it like this exactly except for the live yeast, but that is nothing. Even the shapes were simularly cut. The commercial ones are hand strached and somewhat oval in shape and served with many different extras on it. So today's Hungarians are spoiled.

Wow! You really got some haters on your page...must be doing something right...lol. I so agree that there are so many different ways to do things. Its all how your family did it and the memories that come with it.

No way!!!! This isn't it!!!

I don't know why you tolerate comments like this. I would have deleted it a long time ago. Let him play in his own screwed up sandbox. Just a thought.

@eedobee NICE language..... goes to show your level of intelligence (or its lack thereof). Have a nice day.

@TheHungarianGourmet im just curious if u are even hungarian or not..? family whos hungarian,,? anything?,, personally coming from a hungarian im glad people cook our food, that means it is good, this isnt the style we make it though similar im sure its still good, might want to add sour cream to it and shredded cheese though.

I appreciate your effort, but this is far from Langos!

u are so stupid
AWESOME comment Tinyoca!!!!! THAT has been my point, too! there's as many different ways to cook something as there are cooks. To those who feel this video isn't "Hungarian enough", you really and truly DO have the choice of NOT following the recipe - or if you think you have a recipe worth sharing, then YOU make a video & put it on YouTube....
