JROCK AND PATTY SCAM

Ok so in 2009, my band was asked to play this "Rock Solid Pressure Music Industry Showcase" hosted by Jrock and Patty at State Theater in St.Pete. All the bands were told that this is THE show for the music industry; all the important figures from the biggest record labels in the world were supposedly attending and that many bands get their careers started by playing this show.

After playing this show, the hosts announced No Room For Saints as the winners. We were pretty disappointed that we didn't win but we didn't let it get to us too much. The next day, we received a call from Jrock (the guy who holds the event) that we were actually the winners and that we were the highest scoring band to ever play.

After winning such a hyped up show that "launches careers" we were pretty disappointed that it was all a lie, and got really nothing out of playing the show, so I made this video to call them out. Hope you like it Jrock and Patty!

For the record, I dont have anything against Ratpak Records. They didn't lie to us about anything. The hosts, Jrock and Patty lied about having major label A&R reps at the show and lied about forwarding everybody's career with that show. Sarah Conness (can blow me) and the people who run NyghtScene Magazine lied to us as well.

We were the other "winners" for that show. We won the "radio show" and got some do-rags, body jewelry, a couple guitar stands, and a colorful piece of paper saying we won the radio battle. Best of all, we won a slot on the Showcase and got to spend band funds on traveling from New Orleans to St. Pete, what a joke. We found out the hard way that "Showcase" and "Battle of the Bands" are just another word for SCAM. To all the bands out there that don't know, this is priceless advice.

Yes it is a big fucking scam!!!!!! We played the same year as you guys. Drove from Louisiana. Told us we were gonna be on the Ratpak compilation before we even played that night. Never happened. Fuck Jrock and Patty they're fucking nobodies. The so called record labels there are really a fucking joke.
