WARNINGS! Click more info and read!! - Here's a newer channel surfing video. This is what you can pull from an off-air antenna in the Salt Lake valley in the wee hours of the morning. There are also about 4 or 5 analogue channels in there too!
FYI: The signal cuts out just a bit on a couple of channels... I pretty much completely lost signal on FOX13. Don't know what caused this. Also, I'm missing just a few channels because my antenna isn't all that great... It's literally just one of those stick antennas with some coax hanging off of it. Pretty ghetto, but it gets the job done... mostly.
** Audio warning!! ** There are a couple of parts in this video where the audio is VERY loud! So keep your speakers low! The first part is between 8:14 and 8:36. The second is between 9:21 and 9:40
Technical info: Receiver is a Samsung SIR-TS360 using an off-air antenna (not plugged into a satellite at all, I don't have DirecTV service), captured to my laptop which is an HP DV6000 series system (1.60GHz Turion 64, 4GB ram) running Windows 7 Pro x64. The program I used to capture is called Debut Video Capture, and I then used a program called WinFF to crop (just a little off the end and bottom) and to expand the video (it was captured in 4:3 even though the source was 16:9). I may put up a tutorial on this later.
No copyright infringement intended. This video is for other video geeks out there who enjoy this kind of stuff. :)
The only channel I find interesting in this clip is the KSL LIVE 5 Weather Channel (KSL - DT 5.3)
