  • I wish people would stop claiming they own the prints, if you are a real fan, you'd give it to the BBC for all fans to see. Of course if any of you know film collectors around the 60s, ask them and their friends! You never know!

  • This reveals the story to be better than I recall. The only amendments I could suggest are that where the two guys observe the Doctor on the beach; there were cuts to a 'Freewheelers ' Binocular sight effect surveying the Beach. This was black with a stencil window like two interjoined circles. Also when the hovercraft came in Victoria raised hand to mouth as if to scream. Following side shot was a front shot very similar to an outside broadcast of one coming in c. 1967 the BBC sometimes run.

  • @BritishAlienCompany Ep 3 exists. This story more than the bulk of the b&w missing eps is screaming for an animated recon, b/c it's basically DW does Bond, which is awesome. But as any DW or Bond fan (I'm both) will tell you (or action fan in general for that matter), action stories don't work w/just subtitles and audio. Alternatively, go read the transcript which is very good. All that said, it's one of the most fun Troughtons, if not one of the best (still very good though).

  • @WrongRoadRailways Fury is one of the best Troughton's and a legit candidate for all time top 10, but the 3 you have all make my all time top 5 and other perhaps than Genesis are far and away the best Dalek stories.

  • @Hexachloraphine Ahem, it still is, you just need to know where to look.

  • @kryten25 you sir, are an idiot.

  • if that's true, why the bloody hell don't you lend them to the BBC so they can copy it and we can get a share of the cleaned up and reconstructed version?

I even happen to known that there is awards to whoever can lend BBC cannisters with otherwise lost episodes, as far as I remember, the award is a life-sized Dalek replica, exact as they are in the new tely show.

If you can provide full storyline, an even bigger award can be arranged, so just contact BBC dummie

  • So we have the audio of this???? Do we have any full episodes or were they ALL barbarically destroyed by the BBC? And to the guy who 'has' the episodes.....WHY DON'T YOU SEND THEM IN THEN???? :D x

  • Prove it then...

  • Yes, please send it to the BBC! I want to see this one!
