  • @PUSSY100ish Goodness! I never thought of using that 20 mins., tripling the time, paying for gas, paying 30 X the price and giving control of my ingredients to a corporate entity! Deary me - I do feel so stupid now. I should give up all hope of knowing where my food comes from and just consume as we have for 40 years. Your way has worked SO well for all of us! Thank you for your very enlightend comments. Based on your username, you must be a well read, thoughtful individual.

  • Thank you so much- I love that it's working so well for you!

why do you waste your life making derogatory comments to someone who has made an effort to share their knowledge? if you don't like, move on-don't leave abusive comments..

  • @ThrillBillyGourmet my username is a joke between my friends. As for you, stop writing a thousand word essay for a simple text reply and GET A JOB, YOU LOSER!

  • Thank you so much for this recipe. I've been practicing with sourdough for about 2 weeks and your method has worked best for me so far. It's great.

  • Why do you dump half of the starter off? wouldn't it be fine if you just added the flour in water without getting rid of some?

  • I'm sorry. I didn't look at who was replying. I just assumed it was the lady in the videos. Yes, my loaves are getting better. I have don't plenty of experimenting and such. I have read materials by many people. The latest is from a lady in Texas that sells supplies and sourdough starter with support. Apparently there is a missing ingredient that gives the sourdough the sour flavor. It's called lactobacillus. I just ordered some, so we shall see, Jeff
