Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry paid a visit to the state capitol in Madison, WI to headline a rally for Barack Obama on Tuesday October 14, 2008. Kerry spent the day visiting several communities across Wisconsin pushing the democratic presidential ticket. Kerry mentioned how the crowd was a little smaller than the 80,000 who came out for him just before election day in 2004. Kerry won Wisconsin in 2004 by less than 1 % of the vote. Also on hand were Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI-02), Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk and Madison Mayor Dave Cieslewicz.

  • i thought he sucked

  • I managed to stumble on this speech to see the end on my way to class. He seemed more fired up about obama being president than when he was running himself!

  • It was an awesome speech, and I was lucky enough to be right up in front.
