Beefeaters. Psychedelic blues from Denmark. 1968

Rare november 1968 Beefeaters footage playing "You changed my way of living", one of several instant classics from their Meet You There album. The band was then the late Peter Thorup (Dec. 14th 1948--Aug. 3rd 2007) (vo, g), Morten Kjerumgaard Reumert (org), Flemming "Keith" Volkersen (b), and the late Max Nutzhorn Nielsen (Dec. 13th 1946--Dec. 19th 2007) (dm). Recording made in the old Montmartre for the release of their lp and rebroadcast as part of Dansk Rockhistorie in 1985. Jeg har stadig den originale lp med dette nummer og lytter den regelmæssigt. Simpelthen essensen af min ungdom. Og Beefeaters så jeg til en koncert allerførste gang i Håndværkerforeningen i Randers i 1964.
