Seeing a child with special needs is disheartening, but having one is even more traumatic. I am a mother of an autistic child, and wanting to do more than just let my child go through standard therapy. I would like to be more involved in understanding and training not only my child, but also others that suffer the same fate. Children with Autism, Dyslexia, etc, require special attention. Dedicating my career to them would serve as a challenge in my next step in life; to help integrate them into society, thus leading a normal life that we take for granted.
she is a beuatiful child! how old is she now? Don't loose hope and remeber what she needs most is your love support and faith in her that she can do anything! This really does help alot! I have a close family friend whi is autistic she is 23 now going to college, she talks she even has a boyfriend! if you want a suggestion the best thing they ever got her (other then her intesive therapies) was her service dog! That dog has worked miracles!
