  • Did you know that this cartoon was created as a war reference to the German insults towards America? They called us Jerry mice (0-0) and we called them Tom Cats. The reason why Tom never wins is cause they were saying the Germans will never win against us. So, long story short, this whole series is like American vs Germany is cat and mouse form

  • No dislike comment great here's my chance 3 people were orphans

  • @bubba485 I agree, nothing should be cut out of a classic cartoon. Only a childish idiot would try to make a cartoon set politically correct and worry about offended people by releasing it untouched. It should come off more offensive that they tried to cover up the past. That's what happens when you give the wrong people control over dvd releases though, hopefully the networks learned from the mistake.

  • @WillJOsborne I like the original cut of this cartoon

  • @Pikafan2132 thats the one with the part that is missing

  • @Pikafan2132 youtube.com/watch?v=aSfEJBgIv-4&context=C2b861ADOEgsToPDskJ5LKLReZyPyanJidNP7zrS

  • @Pikafan2132 They have uncut for this on bluray and dvd: Tom & Jerry Golden Collection: Volume One, I can't vouch for the quality though, haven't bought it yet or been able to watch it since blockbuster and netflix both don't stock it.

  • @WillJOsborne I wish somewhere they would make uncut DVDs like DBZ Kai got uncut DVDs also.

  • @WillJOsborne Agreed.

  • @Pikafan2132 I wish someone would upload the original untouched version, it's so retarded the editors feel the need to chop out whole sections of cartoons now just because of the past and what was ok back then is not now. No reason to try and rewrite history besides it was never meant to be taken seriously it's a cartoon anyone who gets offended by a cartoon needs to grow up period.
