Moses compiled Genesis from the Toledoths written by the eyewitnesses of Genesis. You're unfamiliar with modern views concerning the compilation of Genesis.

First of all its the JEDP theory not JPR. Second of all that theory has been discredited numerous times by scholars. It is generally accepted among conservative archaeologists and textual critics that the Toledoths were transmitted written accounts written by the subject of the Toledoth. Even an elementary undergrad Genesis textbook will address this. By the way, I know about the authorship question. I have a B.A. Theology and I'm in my M.A. with Luther Rice Theological Seminary.

Ahem, we're talking about the genesis creation account. The Elohist narrative starts with Abraham. Thus it would hardly be relevant. There are no eyewitness accounts in the bible. For that matter most of the 'history' in the bible has been shown to not be historically accurate. His claims to have eye-witness accounts are fallacious. deal with it.
