This knife is good for cutting thick leather. I use this knife for gardening, whether its cutting twine, rope, plastic sheeting, digging, etc. It is not just a weapon. Knives were, in fact, invented as tools and afterward they were used as weapons.

@dieaufopferung now here's a fact for you, if i have a Beretta m9 holstered and you have your play thing holstered at 20 feet i promise i will put one through your head. Never bring a knife to a gun fight or buddy you WILL get fucked up good. to keep it simple GUN BEATS KNIFE!!!

these are terrible sick weapons designed only for one purpose - to bring serious dreadful harm and permanent damage to someone at close quaters. Anyone caught making these or in posession of one should be locked up. For those of you who genuinley need a self defense weapon - buy a gun to shoot burglars and criminals at range.

Yes, indeed, the sole purpose of this knife is close-quarters self defense.
Here's a fact for you - a man with a knife vs a man with a holstered handgun, at 21 feet or closer, the man with the knife wins almost every time - it's called the Tueller drill
Some people, with years of training and vastly above-average relexes, can draw-aim-fire before the attacker can close 21feet but even for those exceptional cases a distance of 15 feet or less hands the victory to the knifer every time.

Most shootings (be it cop vs crim, civ vs crim, or crim vs crim) happen at distances under 15 feet, and more rounds fired miss the target than those that hit.
