These corny politicians want to gain votes, simple and plain, and the idiotic American public has been brainwashed to believe that military intervention is the only solution. The Sudanese leaders on both sides are calling the shots, and trust me, the toughest sanctions won't phase them one bit. And if you send American troops, you'll have Afghanistan on steroids!

American involvement, AU, UN, divestment, sanctions, no-fly zones; these are all bullshit solutions that don't address the core conflict. If you don't pressure these motherfuckers (Bashir, Taha, Nur, Minawi, etc) to sit their asses down at a table and come to an agreement, you'll get NOWHERE. If they can't agree, observers will know who the problem is (as what happened in Abuja).
