are you using it trough the spider? And why? What´s the purpose i don´t undestand, why are ou doing that? for the effects or what? How is pod x3 pro powered? dos the spider acts as a power amp? Is this for live use or only for studio? Thank´s!

hi there, i use the spider valve as a power amp to run a line 6 4x12 cab loaded with vintage 30s.

yeah man, i use it through the power amp section of the spider valve. and no this song wasnt made with the x3 pro.when ive got time ill put up a video of this rig running.

just simply the output of the pod into the return of the loop from your amp

@ESPSROCK hi mate, just bought the x3 pro... How do you have all this hooked up? As I want to do the same (use an amp as a power amp to run a 4x12, with the x3 as the preamp)

@ESPSROCK One more thing I just remembered. When I connect the preamp to the power in of the spider,  it sounds really too loud so I have to turn the master of both amp and preamp all the way down. When i just start to "crack open" the output of the spider, the volume gets really loud as if It was just an ON OFF control instead of a continous control

@ESPSROCK HI. Im trying to run a X3 and also mesa boogie recto preamp into the spider valve 112 power amp section thru the "power in" jack but it produces a lot of noise. I don't know if I am setting them the way I should but, so far, the only way I can get no noise is by connecting the preamp to the front guitar in, which sucks since I the signal will pass through the spider preamp section. Would you help me with it? Thanks a lot for your help in advance

Hello :) do you run the output of the Pod into the effects in on the amp to just use the power amp section of the amp :)
