The is one of the greatest Christmas songs ever -- it's so poignant. The video really makes it come to life. What a fantastic job. The actors are perfectly cast. I understand the song was based on a true story -- a chance encounter between Dan Fogelberg and an ex. I always felt a little sorry for the architect husband, though. I hope never realized that the line "She would have liked to say she loved the man but she didn't like to lie" was written about him.

How do I begin to praise this video properly? For years, I have contemplated making a video which went along with the lyrics to this song. I just found this tonight. I can't stop watching it! I've laughed until I cried!!! What a great job! On behalf of not only all Dan fans or even all music video fans, but on behalf of all humanity, past, present and future, a GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!!!!

I am going to give you props for source material (A most excellent song!) and concept. (There should have been a video for this.) As for execution....at least drink the beers for real! For your ART!

Corny but I kinda liked it! I always find it amusing listening to the verse about how they finished the beer and she driving away. Much different thinking back then.
