MapleStory Gameplay - Level 87 Wind Breaker - Spirit Vikings

Soloing vikings.

Beginning: Use Wind Walk to easily mob all of the bottom without much pot use. Be careful with the magic attacks though, as they hit you in Wind Walk. That's why it's only possible in one direction.

The general rule is: hit the monsters, get on the sniping spot and kill them. If you have the funny transformation skill on, hit all monsters, use puppet (at least level 3!) and see if they go away. As you can see in 2:40, puppet doesn't 100% work so be sure to check if it worked or else it will be a pot waste and a high risk of dead bodies. I don't like dead bodies.

5:16: It's also possible to lure them to the right and lure the right side too and have a bigger mob that you can use rain on. Hell, if you get a little practice, you can be fast enough to kill them while transformed. Worth a try at least, up to personal taste.

While I'm at the bottom the second time, I get targetted by monster from the top platforms. Just duck and wait till they come closer to avoid this.

And weird pirate shoe drop at the end^^


NOTE: The whole map can be solo'ed with only Arrow Rain! I've gotten very good exp when I moved there and I only used AR back at 84 or 85. I believe that going there at level 80 (or earlier) is possible with good equipment.

i still dont understan what is the damage that the wind walk should make, i thought while you were walking you should make some dmg but...can you explain it?

Wind Walk improves the damage that you do with the attack that you do afterwards. So Wind Walk+Arrow Rain is more damage than Arrow Rain alone.

how did you set your skill macro? is Wind Walk first or second?

Wind Walk is first so that when I finish attacking, I'm able to pot if necessary, although I've died a dozen times because the macro aborted in the middle, so you'll need to get the hang out of it either way. Good luck :)

@chazz681 Yes, at lvl 100 wind archers get Hurricane which is a 1v1 attack kinda like strafe but faster and with enless arrows shooting. This is a skill that regular hunters get when they are in their 4th job.

what lvl's your piercing? and btw that looks kinda tiring haha. windwalk rain windwalk rain windwalk rain. btw now there's some sort of bug or something on maplesea, windwalk still can get hit by monsters (physical dmg). idk its a patch or a bug =/
