There was this Chinese restaurant adjacent to the foodcourt
beneath the OCAD building
I used to go there with my parents when I was real young
And you could get these juicy chicken dumpling things
that would squirt sauce out onto your chin
It eventually changed ownership and I went there again
for nostalgia's sake.
And it was just this blast from the past
the whole meal must have been like
eleven bucks and I got
the works.
Three course.
and
Just this heaped
mountain of
steamed rice.
At the time I wondered, how the hell can a place
like this offer so much food at
such a low price and expect
to stay in business
a month later
it closed
