Tracking based on dense realtime-optical flow (marked pixels are tracked based on optical flow information solely).

  • cool !

does it work if you move faster ? when does it stop to work nicely, according your velocity ?

what optical flow algorithm do you use : horn, KLT , Nagel, Anandan, .... ??

what happens if you move the camera and yourself during the tracking ?

  • It works when we move faster, as long as the motion blur caused by image acquisition stays low.

The flow algorithm used is TV-L1 flow, see our webpage for details.

It still works when the camera is moved, as long as the camera movement stays small (little motion blur)

  • What are your camera's resolution and sample rate? Does it have any influence on the accuracy of the tracking?

    Thanks in advance

  • VGA (640x480), 30Hz, no influence on the accuracy except the evident...
