Not from the private sector. The private sector is great to make drugs but many time they rely on the public not for profit sector researches.

Ask yourself this. Why haven't we allowed health insurance to compete across state lines, reformed frivolous law suits, banned annual or lifetime caps, banned precondition limitations, allowed individuals and small businesses to ban together to get group rates, and all of the other FREE things we could have done to reduce costs and protect patients.  Why spend a trillion that we all know is going to turn into multi-trillions? POWER. That's all it is. POWER.

I totally get it. You want all people insured and no limits. We don't need a public option to get that. If there's 500 billion a year in fraud and waste in medicare like Obama says, that alone is $25,000 a YEAR for every American citizen who can't afford health insurance and doesn't qualify for current government run insurance. Don't you see this is a huge rip off? It has NOTHING to do with covering the uninsured and EVERYTHING to do with a power grab.
