This was a test using a VERY LARGE Aerostat balloon to monitor a given area. The mission was to observe an area similar to the fair grounds or incident, via a long term loiter method. It worked well overall given lack of anything but gravity leveling. As you can see with video stabilization done through software, the results are pretty good. The future version will be gyro stabilized and GPS based.. After this test we decided to create a picovet system to level the camera gimble. We have yet to try it out. We will also be adding heading hold to the camera as well.
