It is yet another case of extreme punishment in schools. A 14-year-old boy in Jammu now has a ruptured eardrum, after he was repeatedly slapped by his school teacher. The boy, Shubam Manhas is still in shock. The Class VIII student studied in the Army school at Nagrota, 20 kilometers from Jammu.

    Ouch. Now im glad i go to a kind ex-grammer all girls school in england. To worst punishment is isolation 2hours In a room on ur own. But thats only like if u escape or something like that

    Actually Indians are nice people.

    People are different and there are some crack heads all over the world so it's not correct to make plain judgements over other nations. (I'm not an Indian though :))

    The teacher has no right to do that. Very very roud. I cant even belive it ... That's why I don't go to India their so mean ... they smack u anywhere they want to smack u....., is not good...... Indians should be nice to resents i'm school.. I'll smack them teacher back.......... thats really not nice to the student.... there should be respected to the students in school.. why dose she have to smack next to his hearing aid ... she must be mean to her students......................­... all of them
