6 Years Too Many Day of Action: Morrisvil

March 19, 2009 marked the sixth year since the invasion of Iraq. BuxMont Coalition for Peace Action and Penn Action staged a Day of Action to mark the tragic anniversary. The message of the day was that we will not be able to invest in the peace economy priorities of health care, education and clean energy while we throw money away on weapons and wars.

The day consisted of three events.

1. Morning commute vigil at the Trenton Makes Bridge in Morrisville
2. Noontime rally at the Trenton State House with NJ CFPA and NJ Citizen Action
3. Evening Commute near the Newtown offices of Lockheed Martin

Turnout was good at all three events.
