Why do people have to make negative comments? Obviously things were very different in the 60s and more women were housewives and nurses rather than doctors. People should stop picking on Barbie. Look at all the careers Barbie has had over the years (Barbie did eventually become a doctor). Barbie has been a great role model for little girls; she shows them that they can be whatever they want to be. *btw Barbie was an astronaut before Sally Ride* So she had some careers that were ahead of her time

lol i use to take barbies and duct tape them to bottle rockets and pretend she was an astronaut going into orbit but her rocket malfunctioned and blew up before she could leave the atmosphere....now that i think about it i played with all my toys like that....
