Coaster F40 #2105 with a M3 horn!!
January 2007

An unusual sound on the Coaster. Rather than the normal K5LA horn, unit 2105 has an M3 train horn mounted up top.

Clip #1...Coaster #657 crosses G St. in San Diego with some nice horn action!!

Clip #2...Coaster #657 chugging through Hawthorn street with more M3 action!!

Thanks for watching!!

  • Good thing the enginner knows how to properly quill an M3. Sounds awesome

  • @RCKTBOY7 Ya he's good...he should know how, it is his own personal horn mounted on there

  • Regardless of musical tuning, that M3 sounds awesome! Also great to hear one at more than 15mph! Thanks for posting.

  • No worries, thanks for watching!!

  • @AmtrakCal462 Oh wow, that's AWESOME

  • @trainwatcher17 Yes. But the Nathan H5 and M5 are even louder.

  • @AmtrakCal462 Is the Nathan M3 louder than a K5LA?

  • Is an M3 louder than a K5LA?

  • @TheSouthernPacific No. Too many people complained that it was too loud. 2105 now has a very beautiful sounding K5LA again.

  • 1 woman and it was the one at 0:25 didnt cross the track in time when the train came

  • That is weird for Coaster

  • Freaking awesome!!!
